Trumpeter, composer, arranger, conductor and producer. Gary Guthman studied composition and orchestration with Henry Mancini and Don Cost and collaborated on television and in concert with Tom Jones, Paul Anka, Tony Bennet, The Bee Gees, Michel LeGrand. He was Musical Director and starred in the award winning Musical Theatre production of “Forever Swing”. and was Musical Director for Michael Buble. Mr. Guthman has performed, composed and conducted orchestras from Las Vegas to Carnegie Hall
Pianist, composer (and of film), graduate of the Academy of Jazz Music in Katowice, has recorded over 200 Cd’s and has toured the world playing at renowned jazz festivals including the Pori Jazz Festival in Finland, Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada and the Jazz Jamboree in Warsaw. Wojtek continues to work with Zbigniew Namysłowski, Lora Szafran, Krystyna Prońko, Gary Guthman, Krzysia Górniak, Piotr Salata and Anna Osmakowicz.
Outstanding Polish acoustic and electric bassist, who has collaborated on the forefront of Polish jazz as well as on the theatrical stage. He was a member of the Andrzej Kurylewicz Trio. Currently, Mr. Pańta is active in the groups of Janusz Bogacki, Gary Guthman, Wojciech Gogolewski and Filip Wojciechowski as well as Włodek Pawlik Trio (2014 Grammy Award winner for “Night in Calisia”)
Performs on drums and percussion. He debuted his professional jazz career with the Mark Bliziński trio in 1977. From 1981-84, he played with Zbigniew Namysłowski’s band “Air Condtion” and recorded the Cd “Plaka Nights” in Greece. In 1983 he performed with Miles Davis. He has collaborated with Janusz Strobl, Włodek Pawlik, Wojciech Karolak and Andrzej Jogodziński. He was the co-creator of the first Polish radio station playing jazz - Radio Jazz.
